Tim Respess

Tom Atkins, President and owner of The Rich Company would like to announce that Tim
Respess has joined the Washington office. Tim is originally from Plymouth, NC with family
from Beaufort County. He grew up going back and forth between Beaufort and Washington
Counties and has strong ties with the area.
He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1998 and attended Pitt Community College before
transferring to NC State. He later graduated with a degree in forest management in 2004. He
has had a variety of jobs including being a Forestry Contractor, Log yard/Sawmill Supervisor,
Forest Ranger with NC Forest Service and is currently a timber buyer.
Tim loves the outdoors, enjoys exercising and occasionally running, completing a marathon in
2016. He loves music and has been a guitar player for over 20 years. Spending time with family
and friends is a big part of his life. He has been married to his wife Kristen for a year and is a
step-father to two boys that love baseball.
With his background in forest management and experience over the years in the timber business,
Tim is looking forward to being involved in the farm and timberland division with The Rich
Company. He will search for farms and hunting tracts that you may be interested in and will also
